The whole room, or the one piece it is missing
Take the full set or start with a single piece. Either way it is drawn around your walls, your ceiling height, and how you live in the room.
Beds and headboards
Bed frames in solid wood or upholstered finishes, with headboards sized to the wall and storage drawers or lift-up bases where space is tight.
Fitted wardrobes
Floor-to-ceiling wardrobes with hinged or sliding doors, planned around sloped ceilings, niches, and corners that ready-made units cannot use.
Nightstands and dressers
Bedside tables and chests of drawers matched to the bed and wardrobe in material and finish, at heights that fit your mattress.
Vanities and desks
A make-up corner or a small work desk built to sit naturally with the rest of the room instead of fighting it.
Kids’ and guest rooms

Materials and finishes
Materials that suit a bedroom
Bedrooms ask for quiet surfaces that stay clean and feel warm to the touch. These are the four families we usually build bedroom furniture from; for a deeper comparison of the boards, read MDF vs melamine: choosing cabinet materials.
Melamine
Chipboard or MDF faced with a hard, printed melamine layer. Scratch- and moisture-resistant, easy to clean, and available in hundreds of wood and plain decors. Our standard for carcasses and the most practical choice for fronts.
MDF (lacquered or moisture-resistant)
A dense, uniform fibreboard that machines cleanly. Moisture-resistant grades go into carcasses near water; lacquered MDF gives smooth matt or satin fronts in any colour, with no visible joints or grain.
Wood veneer
A thin layer of real oak, walnut or ash bonded to a stable board core. The look and touch of solid wood with far less movement, so large doors and panels stay flat for years.
Solid wood
Oak, beech, walnut and ash, selected and dried for interior use. For worktops, table tops, frames and handles, where the surface has to take knocks and be sanded back to new.

Quiet materials, solid construction
Bedrooms reward restraint: matte finishes, warm wood tones, and doors and drawers that close softly, which is most of what a modern bedroom means in 2026. We build with quality boards, veneers, and solid wood, and every wardrobe and drawer runs on European soft-close hardware so the room stays quiet.
Because everything is made in one workshop, the finishes actually match. The wardrobe, the bed, and the nightstands come from the same boards and the same hands, which is the difference you feel when you walk into the finished room.

A master craftsman with 30 years at the bench
Sherif Hamiti built cabinetry and fine joinery in Athens for three decades before co-founding Formo. Every joint, edge and finish that leaves the workshop passes through his hands.

European boards and hardware, as standard
Moisture-resistant MDF and quality melamine boards for carcasses, solid wood and veneer where the design calls for it, soft-close hinges and runners on every door and drawer, edges sealed on every panel.
Installed by the team that built it
The same people who measured and built your piece install it: aligned fronts, adjusted hinges, sealed joints against the wall, and a handover inspection with you.
Cost
What affects the cost of custom furniture?
Every project is quoted from real site measurements, so there is no price list. These are the things that move a quote up or down:
Size and layout:
the number of units, tall columns, corners, islands and how much wall you are covering.
Materials:
melamine, lacquered or acrylic fronts, veneer and solid wood sit at very different points, and carcass and fronts can be mixed.
Hardware:
soft-close is standard; pull-out pantries, corner mechanisms, lift-up doors and internal organisers add to it.
Integration:
built-in appliances, lighting, sockets and ventilation planned into the cabinetry.
Site conditions:
walls out of square, pipes to work around, access and floor levels all affect the work on the day.

Common questions about custom bedrooms
How much does a custom bedroom cost?
It depends on how many pieces you need and the materials you choose. A fitted wardrobe is priced by its size and internal layout; a full room set is quoted piece by piece so you can decide what to include. The quote is free and itemized.
Can you match furniture I already own?
Usually yes. Bring a photo or a drawer front and we will match the tone and finish as closely as the material allows, or suggest a complementary finish when an exact match would look forced.
What bed sizes do you build?
Any size, that is the point of custom. Standard single, double, and king dimensions, but also in-between sizes for awkward rooms and non-standard mattresses you already own.
I have an idea but no drawings. Is that enough?
Yes. A photo, a sketch, or a saved picture of a bedroom you love is a normal starting point. We measure the room, turn your idea into technical drawings, and you approve them before we build. During measurement we also check door swings and passage widths, so the layout you chose works in practice.
How long does a bedroom project take?
It depends on the number of pieces. You get a clear production and installation timeline together with your quote, and we confirm the installation date before we start building.
